West Virginia WORKS Assessments

The WV Works Assessment Specialist administers the Tests of Adult Basic Education (TABE), WorkKeys®, Emotional Health Inventory (EHI), and Learning Needs Screening (LNS) to WV WORKS (TANF) clients.  The assessments are administered to groups of individuals upon referral by the local West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources (DHHR) office.  These exams aid DHHR in placement of their clients into appropriate activities and in making referrals for additional services.

Currently, assessments are being administered by EPIC personnel in the following counties:  Berkeley, Hampshire, Jefferson, Mineral and Morgan.
